We are looking for a dynamic English speaking Client Accountant to work with this fantastic business based in Lucerne – the role is that of a client accountant and will be targeted to progress into building and managing their own team.
The Opportunity:
Using your all-round accounting knowledge you will work directly with the client to ensure all areas of their accounting are Swiss GAAP compliant
Get hands on with GL and transactional accounting as well as handling Swiss financial statements
Preparation of Swiss VAT returns
Make presentations to clients – Liaise with auditors, banks and other external partners
Look to build and manage a small team of client accountants in the near future
About you:
Whilst you will enjoy and be experienced with General accounting you will enjoy working on different things
You will have some demonstrated experience working within a trust company or a small to medium Swiss business
Due to the scope of this we can only consider candidates with fluent English – German would also be advantageous
With your experience working closely with several business partners you will have the ability to present to executive level stakeholders as well as collaborating with more junior team members
